New Year's Resolution List
New Year’s Resolution List
New year, new you…right? It’s the first week of the new year and it’s time to make personal change for the better. Each year, millions of hopefuls make a promise to themselves: eat better, workout more, travel often, and so on. According to Inc.com, 80% of resolutions fail. Why’s that? Well, most often times resolutions are too vague and demanding.
How to Make a New Year’s Resolution
Dedicating yourself to one grand resolution each year is too much too soon. The key to keeping your resolution is promising yourself attainable goals and writing them down. If your resolution is to “lose weight” try instead to work towards “walk 30 minutes, 4x a week”. Give your resolution more detail and tangibility. This will set an easier expectation for you and flexibility. It’s OK to start small!
We’ve created a handy New Year’s Resolution worksheet that you can work from to ensure attainable goals in different aspects of your life. Details are the key to your “new year, new me” motto. Best of luck to you in 2020.
