What You Will Need

  • Blank Wooden Sign With Removable Frame

  • Pink and White Spray Paint

  • Bottle Brush Trees (Assorted Colors)

  • Scissors

  • Hot Glue Gun + Glue Sticks

  • Craft Glue

  • Wooden Letters That Spell “Winter Wonderland”

  • Paint (Assorted Colors) + Paintbrush

  • Miniature Wreath

How To:

Step 1) Take your blank wooden sign apart so that the frame is separate from the backing. Use your white spray paint on the frame and your pink spray paint on the backing. Then reattach the pieces once they have dried completely.

Step 2) Flatten one side of each of your bottle brush trees with a pair of scissors. Doing this will make it easier to glue your trees onto your sign in the next step.

Step 3) Arrange your bottle brush trees however you like on your sign. Then, use a hot glue gun to glue them side by side onto your sign (again, make sure that the flat sides of your trees are against the sign).

Step 4) Paint your wooden letters a variety of different colors. We alternated colors that matched our bottle brush trees but of course, you can paint these however you like!

Step 5) Grab your craft glue and use it to attach your letters on top of your sign. Use a miniature wreath as the “o” in the word “wonderland” as we did for an extra fun touch, too!

And that’s all there is to it! Make one of these for a friend or keep your new handmade sign as festive decor in your own home this holiday season!
