Hey guys, Alisha Johns here from Lish Creative. We're excited to announce that we're working with Mixbook on a custom-line of wedding stationery! And not only will we be using the designs for our own wedding in May 2019, but the template will also be available for everyone to purchase and customize for their own affair! It could be used for weddings, birthdays, all of the things! I will be sure to let you know when it's available, but in the meantime, let's dive into our design process!

To create the design, we referenced our wedding moodboard. We were looking for something clean, colorful and modern and I was definitely set on utilizing some metallic silver. I mean, have you seen all of the foil options that Mixbook has? They're incredible!

We were leaning in a more geometric direction and pulled in our color palette through different design elements. We're so excited with how they turned out. We picked silver foil, but Mixbook also has gold and rose gold foil available too!

Once the template was nailed down, it was time to pick papers. I love exploring different paper weights, textures and finishes, so getting a chance to explore Mixbook's wedding sample kit was pretty much a dream!

It's hard to realize just how luxe, "Luxe Board" is, for example, until you're holding it in your hands and comparing it to other options.

After much deliberation (they're all so great!) we picked our favorites (Premium Matte for the save the dates and Luxe Board for the invites) and started customizing our template with the Mixbook editor. We were able to easily input details, change fonts, and insert photos to make them our own!

An added bonus for us is the fact that Mixbook will even print your envelopes for you! Yay! We can't wait to start sending these out to our guests this fall, and I'm even more excited to see what you create with the template that we designed! Stay tuned for availability!
