AGE 3
Dear Mixbook,
My 3-year-old is obsessed with tools. Any ideas how I can decorate his room without actually hanging a saw and a hammer on the wall?
Sincerely,
Hard-as-a-Tack in Texas
Dear Hard-as-a-Tack in Texas,
While it might be fun to see how you would hang a hammer, the danger quotient makes me happy to give you some advice. Take a picture of all those tools your young son loves so much. Use Mixbook’s great, easy-to-manage technology to create a collage of all those sharp and pointy instruments. Then blow it up into a poster we can mount and send out to you. Your young son can enjoy all his favorite tools without any of the worry!

Dear Mixbook,
My fifteen-year-old just got a selfie with a certain pop star. She wants to blow it up and frame it, but the budget for that just isn’t there right now. Any advice on how I can placate her?
Sincerely,
Mama of Preteen Drama Queen
Dear Mama of Preteen Drama Queen,
Take the selfie of her pop star and make a dozen copies poster size. We’ll print them up for you at Mixbook lickedy split. Take them home and tape them all over the walls of her room - instant pop star wallpaper. She’ll love it! (and you’ll love the price of keeping her happy.) Happy taping!

Dear Mixbook,
I’ve just started a new sneaker company and I’m going to trade shows. I want to blow up some pictures of my sneakers to draw buyers in. Should I mount or frame?
Sincerely,
#Street Cool Sneakers
Dear #Street Cool Sneakers,
Definitely print them poster size because that will be awesomely dramatic and if something happens to one, it’ll be easy to print a new one. As for mount versus frame, what do you have room for in your booth? Mounting will stand up nicely in a booth without the extra bulk of the frame. It’ll also transport easier when you fly to that trade show in Vegas… and New York…. and Tokyo. You can stand a mounted poster on the ground and you can hang it from the back just like a picture frame – you’ve got options for a fraction of the cost and less commitment if you change designs come Spring. Try either a glossy poster or a matte poster. But know that frames will just add glare regarless--so it's best to go with matte posters for framing. Keep on Being Cool!

Dear Mixbook,
My son’s soccer team just won State. Any ideas on a gift we can give the coach? We were thinking of something for his office.
Sincerely,
Mighty Mavericks Soccer Dad
Dear Mighty Mavericks Soccer Dad,
Get a group shot and we’ll help you turn it into an amazing poster-sized print. Then have all the boys sign their name or write a little message to the coach on it. Your coach will really treasure the thoughtfulness of the gift and it will be a lasting memory he can cherish in the years when you don’t win State. Go Mavericks!
Yours Truly,
